1.0 OUR CORE BELIEFS REGARDING USER PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

2.0 RELEVANT LEGISLATION

Along with our business, marketing & communication and internal computer systems, this website is designed to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR)

This site’s compliance with the above legislation means that this site is likely compliant with the data protection and user privacy legislation set out by many other countries and territories as well. 3.0 PERSONAL INFORMATION 

Hypergene handles personal information based on information provided via our website and in personal contacts - via telephone calls, e-mails and / or meetings. We may on occasion also collect or purchase personal information from third parties, e.g. from vendors like Bisnode, for processing in our CRM and marketing automation systems. In the cases where we have collected or purchased personal information, the person in question will receive information about this within 30 days.

The personal information that is handled is in all cases information that concerns the person's professional role. All registrants have been judged to have an interest in products and services in order to better perform their work and achieve their organization’s goals. We may also handle information that other stakeholders have provided via forms on our website, e.g. competitors, suppliers, investors or jobseekers.

In general, you can visit our website without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. You may be required to provide your personal information, such as your name, telephone number, address, e-mail address, etc. if needed, for example, to correspond with you, to process an order or to provide you with more information. It is our intent to let you know how we will use such information before we collect it from you on the Internet.

Please note that we may be required to retain certain information by law and/or for own legitimate business purposes. 

If you wish to stop receiving marketing communications from us then please click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the relevant newsletter. Please note that this will not unsubscribe you from all communications, only the newsletter in question and as such you will need to perform this action for each of the newsletters you are subscribed to. If you wish to opt-out completely then please contact us using the details provided below. Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from some service-related messages. 

5.0 COOKIES AND OTHER TOOLS 

5.1 Cookies

5.2 Marketing automation

The Website employs marketing automation programs from vendors operating on Hypergene´s behalf, which use third-party cookies to track Website use.

When a user visits our Website, the cookie stores traffic data linked to the unique ID of the cookie in the browser. If the user identifies himself by volunteering personal data, e.g. by filling in a contact form or clicking on links in an e-mail sent by Hypergene, the cookie’s unique user ID is linked to the personal data volunteered by the user. This enables Hypergene to supply a more personalized experience on its Website and in communications with customers and users of the Website. Hypergene does not sell, rent or give away personal data that identifies individuals to any external party, except to parties who process data on Hypergene´s behalf. 

5.2 Direct marketing and remarketing

We may call you on the telephone number and/or send an email to the email address we have registered in our systems to offer more information about our product according to applicable privacy and marketing legislation. You can opt out of being contacted via e-mail, by using the unsubscribe function in e-mails sent by Hypergene, or just by telling us if we are in contact by phone.

Hypergene may use third-party service providers to display advertisements on behalf of Hypergene across the Internet. These service providers may use cookies to collect information about your visits to our Website in order to display ads while you are visiting other websites; this information cannot be used to identify you individually. Such information is anonymous; however, your IP address may be collected.  

We respect your privacy and are not collecting any identifiable information through the use of Google’s or any other 3rd party remarketing system. 

5.4 Website analytics

This Website uses services such as Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. Data collected by cookies about your use of the Website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google and other website analytics service providers, on behalf of Hypergene. Hypergene use website analytics for the purpose of evaluating website usage, compiling reports on website activity for Website operators and providing other services relating to website activities and internet usage. 

5.5 Other tracking technologies

Web pages and emails from Hypergene may contain a small transparent image file or line of code (known as web beacons/gifs, page tags, script) to record how you interact with them. They are used to help us to better analyze and improve our services and communication based on your browsing behavior and interests. For example, by knowing which web pages you visit or which elements of a page you viewed, when and for how long, whether you viewed and/or clicked on a link on the website or whether you opened or clicked on marketing emails sent to you.

Our Website may contain links to other websites and “share” buttons (such as Twitter or Facebook) that are not operating on Hypergene´s behalf. 5.7 How do I disable cookies?

Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, Hypergene will issue cookies when you access our Website. 6.0 HOW WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use a number of third parties to process personal data on our behalf. These third parties have been carefully chosen and all of them comply with the legislation set out in section 2.
